This 1940's Hand Painted L' Amour China Made In Japan is a beautiful addition to any vintage collection. The tea cup and saucer are both light blue in color and feature a romantic scene hand painted on them. The saucer also has sweet heart-shaped cut outs while the tea cup has scalloped edges, both of which add a touch of elegance to the set. The rim of the tea cup and saucer are rimmed with gold, giving it an extra touch of sophistication. At this time, we are not accepting returns (with some exceptions).
The first exception to this is if an item has been damaged during the shipping process. A full refund will be issued in that circumstance. Should this occur, please contact me via email at wilfredsretro@gmail.com within 24 hours of receiving the damaged item, along with photos of the damages (for insurance claim purposes).
The second exception is if you are unsatisfied with the product due to inaccuracies in the product description. We want our customers to LOVE each item and cherish them for years to come. If you are truly unsatisfied with an item, we want to know, and want to make it right. These issues will be handled on a case-by-case basis, and could result in a full refund, or partial depending on the severity of the inaccuracy.

Contact me for more photos if you aren’t satisfied with what is already uploaded, or for more information on any item. I do my very best to research each item and to describe them as accurately as possible. It’s also important to note that 99% of my items are vintage, and pre-owned. Items of these conditions will almost always have flaws. This is part of the charm and allure that is attached to owning a piece of history. Flaws could include (but not limited to) cracks, scratches, chips, surface wear, rips, stains, and dents.
Items are shipped within 1-2 business days of receiving payment. All items shipped in Canada are sent expedited with insurance and tracking. Most parcels are received between 2-7 business days, depending on the time of year. US parcels are mailed standard post with insurance and tracking, and can take up to three weeks due to Border Customs.
